four littles.
this brave mama is such an inspiration to me.
she’s got four littles and is so real and raw
and absolutely lovely.
In the same way, let your light shine before others,
so that they may see your good works
and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
Matthew 5:16

love.
this is one of my favorite places.
and some of my favorite people.
Anyone who does not love does not know God,
because God is love.

3575. His perfect love
a cherished friend.
these are photos that i was able to take
of one of my most cherished friends.
(and she is the owner + designer of pop + lolli!).
He gives power to the faint,
and to him who has no might he increases strength.

sharing.
it’s about time i started sharing some photos
that i took of some of the special people in our lives!
we’ve known this family for years and years
and they are such an encouragement to me.
always.
(here are their photos from last year.)
The eyes of all look to you,
and you give them their food in due season.
Psalm 145:15

3557. a wonderfully cozy day at home
3558. naps in the afternoon
3559. seeing all that was done
3560. the power coming back on
balloons and a baby bump.
i just adore taking photos of special needs kids
and i really really love taking photos of
special needs kids still in the womb.

“Surely, as I have planned, so it will be,
and as I have purposed, so it will happen.”
Isaiah 14:24

3452. joy from balloons
3453. lemonade in the afternoon
3454. fresh starts this week
3455. his legs in the air
the train ride.
i just love this family
and am so grateful that i get to see them
so many times each year,
to watch them grow
and hear about all of their good ideas
and witness their utter and complete obsession with super heroes.
and to top all of that off,
we got to go on a spontaneous train ride!
and call on me in the day of trouble;
I will deliver you, and you will honor me.
Psalm 50:15

3332. getting a ride back to my car
3333. “help” taking photos
3334. light that just beams
3335. how she doesn’t mind that i take her picture
new.
my favorite,
favorite
lens broke.
which breaks my heart.
i’ve had it on my camera,
exclusively
for nearly five years.
so after i grieved for a bit
i decided to get a new lens.
a different lens.
and i’m both terrified and thrilled
(which seems to be a theme in my life right now).
it will be on my camera soon.
and i think it’s quite symbolic
for where i am in life right now.
“Come now, let us settle the matter,”
says the Lord.
“Though your sins are like scarlet,
they shall be as white as snow;
though they are red as crimson,
they shall be like wool.”
Isaiah 1:18
